| Water Crossing Notes: |
No major issues all rock hoppable - we cleared some leaf clogged areas along the way |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
We brought our folding saws to pitch in today - numerous blowdowns along the way, we removed about 30 of them, all of the remaining ones up to main peak are not a nuisance (easy step over or duck under) and/or need a chainsaw to remove (larger than 8" diameter) - we properly delimbed all of the remaining ones for safer passage. We also kicked out leaves from a few water bars as needed. Seems like most of the trail work done by the forest service a few years ago held up, hard to say if the trail is more eroded after the storm since it's been quite eroded for sometime but no major washouts to report |

| Comments: |
We set out to hike the Osceolas and help out with the trail a bit, didn't end up making it to east peak with all the work we did so unsure how bad the blowdown situation is on the ridge - up to main peak it's as passable as it will be until someone with a chainsaw comes through. Saw a handful of other people out but no views and some mixed precip at the summit - still a great day out with Ali and Hannah and to pitch in with the cleanup |
