small brooks running high but we were able to not get wet |

no major blowdowns, just a few spots with fur branches jutting into the trail |

A very enjoyable loop, which also would be a nice snowshoe hike; cloudy day but we could see the boulders in King Ravine and a some of the Mahoousuc Range and Carter-Moriahs...snow, mud, ice, it all was there today..two of us used microspikes part way up, one barebooted the whole way... |
