Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Avoided the two major ones with the bushwhack, which left three crossings to negotiate. Water was high but water proof boots and gators kept us dry. Rocks were icy above the water, so we stepped on rocks slightly submerged and were fine.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Only one major blowdown area from the recent storm going up the Owls Head Path

Comments
Comments: Snow all the way, but not enough for traction. Slower going due to sticky conditions, but an epic hike! Had the trails all to ourselves today! Only saw two ladies who turned around before the last crossing since they couldn't find a way across. We were able to find a way safely across but Gortex boots were a must. On the return, the Lincoln Woods Trail was getting icy. Thanks Gypsy Hiker for joining us.
