Comments
Comments: ***Note Sabbaday Brook is CLOSED at trailhead and in picnic area.***

Pine Bend was icy from the get go and icy icy icy in the steep section below the junction. Above the junction, ice and snow over ledges.

Tripyramid Ridge was a couple-few inches of fresh snow over packed snow and ice.

Sabbaday Brook hadn't seen much traffic. Snow up top, crusty snow mostly, then bare ground and ice down low.
Several washouts in the bottom couple miles. The trail just disappears in places, the river munched it up.

Note that Sabbaday Brook Tr is CLOSED from the bottom at the Kanc trailhead, with caution tape and fencing by the falls. We did the loop and there were no signs heading down from the ridge, so we didn't find out til we got to the "WORK AREA" signs and fences. We went out and around through the woods.
