Comments
Comments: I bare booted until I reached the Carter-Moriah trail and then through on the spikes for South Carter. Several blowdowns still on the ascent of South Carter but all manageable. Whoever has been working the cleanup of that trail is AMAZING. Continued wearing the spikes the rest of the day until the trail junction of 19MB and Carter Dome trail on my descent. The trail descending Carter Dome is very steep and requires spikes as far as I’m concerned although I saw two boys barebooting and they made it down safely. A great hike!!!!!
