| Comments: |
Well we started on the kanc and we took a bearing and headed straight to the peak. We got stuck in a lot of spruce and more spruce. Not so thick that you couldnMt move but a lot of plowing through to try and get to the other side. We did hit some boulder/cliffs and were able to get up them but the holes in them made me think of bear dens. We hit finally some good woods towards the top and headed on up. There was a view through the trees tonthe left and we finally found the cannister which made us quite happy. After the cold set in and we signed in we followed our foot steps out with the snow cover. The track was around 1.7 miles total but over 1000 feet of elevation gain. |
