Comments
Comments: Not a bad day to get out despite the winds! Beautifully maintained trail to the summit of Mt. Cube! Big shout out to the Rivendell Trails Association, as a trail maintainer, for their proactive erosion management. The waterbars are clearly functioning as necessary, especially after that Halloween storm - in an area that saw considerable damage no less.

A little ice here and there, used microspikes on and off round trip, using them primarily heading up the initial ledges to the South summit through to the North. Put them away once I came back down off the ledges, otherwise would've dulled them. Caution is the keyword here if you choose not to use traction, but doable.

A lot of rabbit, deer activity with some mingling racoons and likely a bobcat. Fair views between the clouds and flurries, but missed Moosilauke. A perfect excuse to make another trip once the snow blows in for winter!
