Awesome day for a hike! I was able to get by without microspikes for only the 1st mile, then after that no way you can do this without them. Small snow drifts getting to the summit, but no snowshoes needed. Walked down the Sosman trail since I have never done it and walked down a ski slope until I could duck back into the trail 3/4 of a mile down. Top of the mountain is not open right now, but the bottom half is to skiing. Only saw 2 other people on the trail. Happy hiking! |
