Comments
Comments: Much of the walk to the loop trail was a mix of trace ice and some snow. We put spikes on only when we got the the Cedar Brook-Loop Junction. We decided to go up to the South peak first anticipating the steps going down the North side to be easier to navigate going down as opposed to the South trail which doesn't have many steps. After completing the loop, either would have been fine. Most groups we saw headed clockwise and didn't mentioned any trouble. Spikes stayed on until we got back to the Kanc but could have come off earlier.
