It's a beautiful thing to pull into the Lafayette Campground parking lot and see less than a dozen cars! One more reason to hike this time of year. |

Ideal winter-like conditions. The trails are hard packed and only require spikes - I use Hillsounds, but I saw others in Kahtoolas who seemed to be making their way OK. |
