Comments
Comments: Well took the man made bulldozed trail up the cog. Used snowshoes just for televators. Looks like skiers have already taking a couple of turns above Jacobs ladder. Lots of ice above transition rock. Hard crust heading up cone. Used snow shoes as well. Hillsounds would work great too. Heading down Crawford was a tad tricky. Lots of bulged ice. Hillsounds once again worked well. A couple of guys ahead of me had micro's and were struggling.Ammo was well...interesting with just hillsounds till Gem Pool. Highly suggest Crampons for the descent. Had no shame and slid on some of the tricky spots. My plan was just to descend the cog but the weather held off and made for a great day above tree line. Hopefully we can start getting a descent amount of snow to cover this ice or its going to be one of those crampon seasons yet again :(.
