Comments
Comments: my last 48, my friend's first...spikes (not crampons) from the start, no snowshoes...we planned
to finish with about one hour in the dark where the trail is relatively flat and
the footing is predictable...peak was a bit nerve wracking as the last 100 steps or so
are on icy rock--one misstep could mean quite a fall...snow began lightly in the afternoon...walking out with our
headlamps illuminating the falling snow and snow on the ground was spectacular--a winter
wonderland of glistening fresh snow!
