Comments
Comments: This route is a solid, well-packed sidewalk all the way up. Snowshoes are not needed at the moment, although I saw several people wearing them. The abandoned side trail to Hitchcock Flume was also broken out by some brave souls. Single-digit temps today, but felt warmer with the sun at the summit ledges. The notch was in and out of a cloud as were the views. The descent was colder as it was facing into a light wind. Nice to meet Christopher and friend as I was heading up.
