| Comments: |
Did this one with Monica and the Random Group of Hikers. Wore snowshoes the entire day while others put them in at the junction to Pierce. There were a few people in the trail before us and the trail to Pierce was well packed down. The trail from Pierce to Eisenhower wasn’t. Easy to follow the trail corridor after having been there so many times but there could be a few confusing locations if unfamiliar with the area. Some of the cairns were obvious while others were buried. Knee deep snow with hip deep drifts in the trees and ankle deep snow with knee deep drifts in the open areas. Others got to enjoy our trailbreaking efforts. Saw some familiar faces (Anya) and met some new one (Bubbles the Hiker). |
