About 3/4 of a mile from the summit, blown snow eliminated any semblance of a trail, requiring us to break trail in two feet of soft powder. Fortunately my hiking partner knew the trail well and confidently led us to the summit. Recommend against attempting this hike absent close familiarity with trail. |
