Comments
Comments: Up to Cabot was packed. From Cabot to about a half mile down Unknown Pond Trail, unbroken. One set of tracks coming up Unknown Pond Trail to about a half mile below pond. I could not find where the trail went down off Cabot, so I bushwhacked, and ran into a messy wall of stuff in the col between Cabot and the Bulge. I found the trail again not too far after getting through that. However, people should probably not follow that part of my tracks, unless you also want to go through the mess! Snow was about 2 feet up on the ridge, but the wind had made it somewhat dense so snowshoes only sunk about a foot. Still, being solo I was glad to run into that set of tracks coming up Unknown Pond. I must be getting old!
