Comments
Comments: Really nice hike that was pretty well defined by snow shoe tracks from previous hikers. Once I reached the final upper section in the scrub and rocks below the observation deck, I lost the trail and attempted to bushwhack to the summit. Poor visibility, lots of sketchy spruce traps, solo hiking, and cold feet convinced me to head back - how's that for excuses! I was probably 100 to 200 feet below the summit, but too far right (east).

No need for snow shoes. Microspikes and crampons were perfect.
