There is one deep drainage ditch on the connector from Reed Road, but it is crossable. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two very large fallen trees (one as recent as yesterday) in the saddle between West Quarry and Rand. The Dave Roberts Quarry Trail needs more tree blazes, as any rock blazes are not visible in the winter, and the blazes that are there need to be repainted. |

| Comments: |
We had to do a bit of searching to find the trailhead. The trail starts at the very end of Reed Road at the green Forest Society gate and follows a logging road. At the fork, the trail goes left and you should come across the deep drainage ditch right away. Keep in mind there are no blazes until you enter the woods about a half a mile after the fork. The trail in the woods has granite steps at the entrance (not quite visible under the snow) and blue blazes. |
