| Comments: |
I walked the 19 mi. brook tr. to the junction with the Cater Dome Tr. It is very hard packed. I then crossed the brook and bushwhacked up towards the peak. Snow is deep and soft, but trying to consolidate, with some shiftiness and occasional supportive and almost supportive areas. Around the steep areas, snow is soft and deep and the breaking is tough. Snowshoes with maximum floatation were bet. I could not unscrew the cap at the recognized summit. Feel free to sign me in for today if your up there. |
