Comments
Comments: All trails are broken out and good to go. Kudos to whoever busted out (and through the walls of snow) along the ridge this week. Some drifts on the ridge, and coming down from North Hancock involved some slip sliding away and glissading due to powdery snow in the snowshoe track. The trails got some good work today, with at least six hikers in snowshoes.

Beyond the relevant junctions, Hancock Notch and Cedar Brook looked unbroken.

Chalk this hike up to mountain-forecast.com, which nailed the low winds up high. If you don't know this site, check it out. Its coverage of mountains (both at trailheads and summits) is amazing.
