Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Park at the ski area. Trail takes off on the top right of the ski area from the "Ski Area Only" road before one gets to the loading/unloading area. The path is tramped down.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Postholes 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing is slippery. Wear traction or watch your step. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One big blowdown between miles 1 & 2. It can be ducked under. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Seems too cold for a dog. To each his or her own. 
Bugs
Bugs: Encased in ice. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found lots of ice on my face after the hike. 
 
Comments
Comments: Trail is packed in. Careful if one steps off the side of the trail. Possible to posthole in the unpacked powder. Chilly on top. Plenty of traffic today.
