The first half mile was already broken out, our group broke out the remainder of the trail. There were very high winds during and after the hike so I expect there are drifts. I dont believe the A-Z trail was broken out at the junction. A second group was attempting to summit today, 1/7, so hopefully it’s packed down nicely. I can’t imagine being able to bare boot the top section of the trail to the summit. We were sliding down in our mountaineering snowshoes. Bring spikes! |
