Road was untouched after Thursday's blizzard. 8-10" snow, plus 2-3' drifts from gate to trail head. Carrigain Notch trail was more of the same. Very deep in spots. Went to junction, bailed. Saw four (4) skiers heading in as I was on my way out, all of whom were headed to Lowell. Should be much easier for a crew to break out the final three miles to the summit. Bring your snowshoes. |
