Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only one brook crossing is a little tricky. Not completely frozen over. Careful stepping on ice covered rocks is required. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One large blowdown at about 1/2 mile in. A large tree is laying headlong in the trail. A goat path is starting to form around it.

Dog-Related Notes: Dogs would be fine on this trail.

Comments
Comments: An early start put me on top of Israel at 7:30 AM. The low light made for some great photos. A light snow made some of the ice a little hard to see but microspikes did the trick nicely. Lots of ice higher up on the hill. A beautiful morning with great views.
