Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking lot was plowed but icy.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The stream crossing at the beginning was a challenge for some new to Winter Hiking. Water was high and fast. Rocks were wet and some icy. Make sure you have waterproofed boots.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow-downs on the trail.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The slabs on the decent from Dickey were very icy. Dogs were having difficulty with their footing.

Comments: Trail was packed and provided firm footing. Upper sections of the trail were either ice or bare rock.
