Comments
Comments: I started on Zealand road in skis. The road is hard-packed with a little powder on top. Ski tracks are getting rough in places due to booters and snowshoers invading the ski track. I switched to snowshoes for Zealand trail, which is hardpacked. Looked hard to ski. No major postholing. A-Z had no sign of recent travel. I followed A-Z for a tenth or so and began to bushwhack up. Surface was very supportive and made for easy walking the entire way. Woods were easy, except for some tangley low-growth stems and some tighter everygreens in a couple of places. I could not get the canister opened, as it was ice-glazed. I was able to follow my tracks out, but the smallest dusting or wind could cover them.
