| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water still running high. Largest crossing required us to go upstream a bit and shimmy across a log. There is a well-broken path to the log just before the crossing heading to the left. There is another crossing option further upstream. The path to that crossing is also well-broken. It is just before the path to the log and requires you to head uphill. The log option worked well for us. |

The last water crossing would have been difficult for dogs, with water running over ice. |

| Comments: |
Conditions were perfect for our Hillsound Spikes. Snowshoes were not necessary, as the trails were well packed. There were some major snowshoe postholes that were easy to avoid. They may not be so easy to avoid if there is a few inches of snow. It was a cold day, but winds were light and lots of sunshine. Views from the ridge and summit were spectacular. |
