Too high, roaring, rocks had ice that had not quite frozen due to the heavy rains and thaw. Too dangerous for 4mi away from lot. Temps were hovering around 3 degrees, so we weren't interested in falling in. |

we wore snowshoes but the trail was packed enough to probably just wear spikes..main water crossing on the Hale Brook Trail was too high to cross. we turned around |
