Trails were snow covered from yesterday's storm. Snow cover ranged from about 6 inches down to about an inch in the higher elevations. Lots and lots of ICE hiding under the new snow. I started in snowshoes and switched to spikes once into the evergreens. A lot less snow cover there where the trees are thicker. Great views from the summit today and brilliant blue skies. |
