Normally I would recommend snowshoes but the trail is a snowshoeing nightmare due to a lot of bare-booting. I wore snowshoes for the first half mile but had to take them off. The trail was very rutted with boot prints, and the track in some places wasn’t even wide enough for snowshoes. Also encountered some bare rock leading up to the ledges which would be difficult on snowshoes. |
