Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: 9 am and the Wonalancet lot was full. Parked at the Mount Katharine spot (by the mailboxes) and walked to the road.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow - Spring Snow, Slush 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction, Traction, Ice Axe 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The birch log is still in place, albeit icy. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Kate Sleeper from Downes Brook to East Sleeper is a mess of large blowdowns. Probably leftover from the Halloween 2017 storm. Everything else is in pretty good shape. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Whiteface / Blueberry Ledges has water ice in all the usual spots. Gryffin made it up without issue. Smaller dogs might need a boost.

Bugs: Springtails were out :)

Comments
Comments: Marginal snowshoe conditions (spikes will suffice) everywhere except Kate Sleeper to East Sleeper. Low on Dicey's Mill was spring conditions - water, mud, wet leaves, lots of patches of non-snow.
