Comments
Comments: Wore spikes from parking lot to Hut, but a lot of folks in the group wore snowshoes. Either would work, as the snow on the road is pretty solid, as is Zealand Trail. From the Hut to the summit, snowshoes were the way to go. Trail is nicely broken, but not super firm. Very little in the way of bare rock, so a comfortable snowshoe ride up. Kept the shoes on for the entire descent as the snow softened up during the afternoon.

Ran into three groups of people who had originally set out for the Bonds, but turned around due to wind. I don’t think any of them said they made it past Guyot.
