Comments
Comments: Due to very low temps (2F) we chose this shorter hike. Parked @ picnic area on lot Rte 49 approx. 3 miles from Waterville Valley. We were in open woods our entire trip, on & off previous drifted/ worn tracks. We hit logging road(s) & made good time to the peak's recognized high point. We found ledges w/ nice views & decided to hike over to Bald Knob to see views we'd heard were beautiful (& they were!). Bushwhacked back to our track & vehicle. Great day in the woods!!!
