Comments
Comments: Trail is well packed up to the shelter. However, after passing Willey Range trail and mostly once you reach the height of land there are many deep snowshoe postholes. With the help of a group of UNH student also staying at the shelter the trail was packed well on the way out. Use caution from height of land to the shelter as some of the trail has water running underneath and the snow/ice over them tends to cave in. Ethan Pond was well frozen enough for travel. Great weather for an overnight and some redline miles.
