The usual parking area at the west entrance of Gale River Loop is NOT plowed. One car was parked along the road right at the entrance and we did the same. |

Trail is firm and solid. Helle and I barebooted all the way to Garfield Ridge tr. jct. Then "spikes" to the summit and back.
A long section on the upper-half is heavily post-holed but it is mostly on the side - the middle section of the trail is good and solid. |
