| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty at Castle in the Clouds. I parked in the first lot as the one by the barn was full of ice. |

|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is clear and well maintained |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Trail right now is extremely icy so, make sure that your dog is experienced on this terrain. Otherwise, in other seasons, this would be a very easy trail for dogs. Bring water for them as there doesn't appear to be a lot. |

| Bugs: |
None |
|
| Lost and Found: |
One mitten on a tree on the upper ledges. |

What a fun trail this one is. Enjoyed all the open ledges and ridge to the summit. Saw clear to Mt. Washington today too. Easy 2.5 mile/5 mile round trip hike. As I said above, it is very icy on the lower sections so, bring traction. No need for snow shoes. the upper section has inconsistent ice but not enough to take the traction off your feet. I will be back to explore more of this area. |
