Comments
Comments: Felt like a spring hike as weather was warm (almost too warm). A lot of post holing down low due to slushy, soft conditions. Probably could have used shoes to stay afloat but with the multiple river crossings, shoes would have been damaged some as a lot of rock hopping was done. Just prior to the intersection of Pine Brook and Tripyramid Trail, there is a section of almost no snow, minimal monorail. Between two peaks was in good shape because the snow was not slushy.
