Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the Clinton Road parking lot at the base of the Crawford Path. Icy lot. One car in our team could not get enough traction to make it into the lot and had to park closer to the AMC Highland Center and meet us on foot.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One water crossing near the bottom of Edmands Trail. Blue Ice with patches of moving water. Very Passable. Looks like the bridge that is meant to cross this section has washed out and is wedged awkwardly in a copse of trees.

Comments
Comments: We took Crawford Path up to Pierce and then over to Eisenhower with zero difficulty. Trail is hard pack and well defined with zero post holes. Light traction was used as the hard pack has icy qualities to it. Possible to do it without spikes, but it would be slow going. Went up Eisenhower from the junction to the Eisenhower loop trail. Well defined. light traction is a must as there are often sections of glare ice with little snow for traction. Followed the loop trail over summit down the north side of Eisenhower to meet Edmands path. Edmands path is easy to follow but was loose pack. I used snowshoes and had zero trouble while other members in my party did not bring theirs. They had a harder time with lots of post-holeing. Made it to Clinton Road which we followed for 2 miles back to the lot with zero major trouble. Road is clear and very easy to walk on. It was an amazing day with a high ceiling of partial clouds. Clear views of Mt Washington, Jefferson and 360 panorama. Wind protection was needed, but gusts were very manageable.
