Comments
Comments: Seems that somehow everybody today managed to miss BOTH the broken out BP bushwhacks and go up the slide instead. Not what I planned to do, and certainly exciting with only microspikes, but doable nonetheless (thanks A MILLION to the footsteps before me!). Even with slow going on the slide and a 9:30am start, I made it to the summit around 2/2:30pm. There was a junction after the slide with a bushwhack which I meant to take down I, but I instead found my unobservant self on a different bushwhack. (For reference: Its junction with the lincoln brook trail was shortly after the second major crossing, so the other bushwhack must be just a little bit further down than that).

Hiking alongside the wintery river was stunning, as was the views from the slide. Even my ending bit by moonlight was beautiful! So all in all a great hike to wrap up my NH48!
