Comments
Comments: Breezy Point, Carriage to Gorge Brook to summit, south ridge to Carriage to Breezy point down

Breezy Point to jct w/ Carriage is postholed and gnarly, but ultimately a solid enough monorail for microspikes. From jct. w Carriage to jct. w Gorge Brook is barely tracked, and the crust isn't solid -- it's doable w/ spikes, but would recommend snowshoes for this section. Gorge Brook up is perfect: solid monorail w/ very few postholes on the sides; very little drifting on summit, trails easy to pick up. South Ridge trail in great shape, solid monorail all the way. Carriage is in great shape, too, solid almost all the way -- only the final mile or so is softer and treacherous in microspikes.
