Surface Conditions: Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Handful of blow downs, nothing unmanageable. The ladders are completely encased in ice. As of right now they are still passable on foot (with spikes) because the snow is soft enough. If it freezes solid, this section is going to require more serious traction and likely an ice axe.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few coming down Osseo, so clearly they were able to handle the "ladders" section. I was impressed.

Comments
Comments: Beautiful day for a hike. Osseo is in good shape. I carried snowshoes but never took them off my pack. Everything was very solid.
