Comments
Comments: Cold, breezy but sunny day. Trail was hard packed with some postholes here and there. Overall in good shape. A few large ice flows and frozen brook crossings making for some tricky footing. We managed ok with spike but full traction isn't overkill. Lots of ice around the hut. Summit cones of Adams and Madison looked like mostly bare rock with some snow and ice between.
