Went up the Kinsman Ridge Tr from the Tramway parking lot. Snowshoes all the way. Some backcountry skiing going on along the upper sections. The last push up the summit where it is exposed, I lost the trail. Ended up using a recently broken out backcountry ski trail, hooking up with the Cannon ski slopes. I then hooked up with the trail going from the Cannon tramway to the summit. There were 2 people out hiking this route (myself and one other). I came down the same route I went up. The wind started to obscure my route going up. There will be a snowstorm on Wednesday, 2 days from this trip submission. |
