bushwhack to East Bear, Attitash trail to Table Mt.
From Rocky Gorge, followed Nanamocomuck ski trail a short distance before bushwhacking north in Cilley Brook Valley to col. Then east to summit of East Bear and then east to Attitash trail in the East Bear/Table col. Expecting blue ice on the ledges, we put on crampons at 2250'- unnecessary since ledges were not icy but had plentiful soft snow. Recognized summits of both peaks were reached. |
