| Comments: |
Well packed smooth trails except for North Twin Spur which was slightly chopped up. Not really an issue if staying on center of trail. I used light traction except for on the North Twin Spur and coming down the Twinway where snowshoes were used. With warmer temps you'll probably want snowshoes for the upper sections. Very little ice. Nice running into Chris Dailey; hopefully he'll throw some pictures up on his blog from the day. Twinway not tracked towards Guyot as of 3:00 today. 4 hikers I talked to today had plans on heading to Garfield on Garfield Ridge Tr. and looked like they had on my way down. Glad I didn't miss this day! |
