| Comments: |
Beautiful bluebird day. crystal clear view from the summit to Tripyramids, Osceolas, Carrigain, and gleaming white Presidentials, as well as from Mooselauke over to Kinsmans Cannon and Franconia Ridge from viewpoint on Sosmans. Packed snow sidewalk with solid crust up to the summit ridge. Along the summit ridge and Sosman trail snow is not consolidated and snowshoes recommended. Tons of people coming up as we were headed down enjoying the first day of the holiday weekend. Kestrel data: T=29, W=0, WC=29. Fine day to be on any trail. |
