Up and down the KRT. 4-6 inches of fresh snow on the trail this morning. Snowshoes on right away. Many thanks to the woman who arrived before us to break out the trail! We looked to have been the second ones heading up. Areas where the trail crosses the glades were a bit tricky to navigate but we managed. The broken out path after the cliffs where it opens up again is not the actual trail but will get you to the top regardless. The path will swing right along the incline then left up it and will duck back into a patch of trees and put you at the ski slopes. You can hug the left side of the ski slope until you see another herd path leading left off of it. This leads to the summit. |
