Comments
Comments: The snowpack in this area survived the big thaw. A few short stretches of trail melted down to blue ice or bare ground, but the majority is still covered in either frozen granular (set up last night) or spring snow (did not set up). A few postholes survived the thaw and are now hurting the ankles of every subsequent hiker until we get more snow. I wore snowshoes roundtrip without issue. Snowpack is generally around 8-12".
