Comments
Comments: The surface was hard packed snow overlain with a thin layer of powdery snow. In places the loose snow was non-existent and some bare ice was exposed. On approach to the summit on the Sosman trail, the surface was a bit more icy. The Tecumseh Trail on the cone of Mt Tecumseh had some icy ledges. MicroSpikes were adequate traction.

Lots of hikers out today. A lot of music and announcements on the speakers at the ski area today. Limited views at times. I decided to hike Mt Tecumseh based on the predicted winds at the higher elevations.
