| Comments: |
Quick hike up Webster Jackson Tr to the summit of Jackson. The storm on Sunday dropped a small amount of snow (1-2 inches) on the trail. No breaking out needed. On the steeper pitches, there was light snow on ice. This snow proved a hindrance to microspikes. There was just enough snow for the microspikes to barely reach the ice, or not reach it at all. Be careful on the steep parts. Coming down the mountain, the warmer temps created some snowballing amongst the spikes. |
